Top score! Quiet and peaceful place. Particularly relaxing on the VIP plateau. Very pleasant and hospitable host. A very pleasant stay. Recommended!

It is a nice place and has a friendly host that welcomes you with a free drink. 70 lei was the price for sleeping with a tent. It is also close to the city center, which is great. One inconvenience is that there is only one shower/gender for the entire camping and the instant water heater takes some time to adjust. Also the entrance in the camping seems difficult for big campers and needs proper attention. There is a cooking are which we were told it is for the restaurant only, but other people in the camping said different. Not sure about it. The water in the pool didn't look very clear and the bottom wasn't clean. It is still a good camping, especially since there isn't a different one in the area.

IF YOU GO TO ROMANIA YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE, NO DOUBT!! Forgot about Bora Bora, Bali, Phuket, Hawaii or any other bounty island: the most exotic and peaceful paradise on earth is the Robinson country club in Oradea!! If you ask me to rank this camping on a scale from 1-10, it’s DEFINITELY an 11!!! (Such a shame that google allows me to give only five stars...) When you enter the camping it looks like a small paradise. It’s tiny, but huge! There is a swimming pool, there are wooden huts, there is a bar with a good atmosphere and there are a lot of exotic plants. The location of the camping is very good and near to the center (walking distance). Last but not least, there is the perfect host, Adam. He runs the camping, the bar, the kitchen, doing the cleaning, Being the pool boy and he is doing everything by himself. He is very busy with anything and everything, but he has always time for a good talk and he can help you with anything (it’s worth of pointing him the next Superman vacancy, I am serious). You can also see that the camping is really his passion. He has a lot of fun and like to meet and help travelers. So.... if you ever have the opportunity to meet Adam and STAY ON HIS CAMPING, consider yourself LUCKY! Cause chuck Norris goes on the other side of the road, when he sees Adam! See you next time for sure Adam!! I will recommend the camping to all the people I’ll meet on my trip.

One of our stops on our trip called ‘From the Irish Sea to the Black Sea’ was in Romania, Oradea / Nagyvarad city in Robinson Camping. We were welcomed by Adam with whom we arrange the booking, showed us the place we can park, after that showed us around and invited us for a welcome drink, a shot of Palinka (this drink is a traditional drink made by fruits I believe was 40 alcohol degrees or more). After that, Adam was running up and down welcoming other guests doing the arrangement for them as well. From our point of view, wasn’t any request that couldn’t be arranged. For us was a surprise to see just 15 minutes’ walk from the city, is hidden this little paradise. Our dinner was made in the open kitchen by Adam and his father Csabi. Although is a slightly smaller camping then what we got used to in UK, they have good atmosphere and lovely facilities like their own pool, restaurant with good atmosphere and a taste of traditional food , bar, fish lake, wooden huts, a small playground for the little ones, and a real value of the fruit trees and garden where I was able to show and to pick fruits (peaches, apples, apricot, etc.) to our little one. If you’re first time in Oradea / Nagyvarad, you don’t have to be worried because Adam or Csabi will guide you what you can visit and see in the city. Every second / third day all guests got a traditional meal on the house what we considered a very nice gesture. The place is beautiful and so relaxing, on our stay we met Csabi’s daughter little Sofi who became a good friend to our little one. We got the chance to meet a lovely family who’s running this little corner of heaven. If you considering visiting Oradea / Nagyvarad with your Camper, tent or even to use one of the wooden huts, you will experience a warm welcome and meet this lovely family who’s doing everything what they can for they guests. Definitely we’ll be back!

Things to do around

Darvas- La Roche House

Crișana, Romania

This Secession-style burgher house (1912) is designed by brothers József and László Vágó, who also built Oradea's stunning Moskovits Palace, and is definitely worth a visit during your stay in Oradea. This stunning place is a museum of interiors, furnishings and applied arts. It is well known for the beautiful stained glass and dining room.

Ady Endre Memorial Museum

Crișana, Romania

Visit the small museum in Oradea that is dedicated to one of its most famous inhabitants: Endre Ady, pioneer of the Hungarian poetic revival. The writer of ‘New Poems’ and ‘Blood and Gold’ began his career here as a journalist at the beginning of the 20th century. The exhibits include many possessions used by the poet.
